Junior High Temperature : extreme heat temperature data logger

The Junior High Temperature is a reusable temperature data logger specially designed for extreme heat.

It is particularly suited to sterilisation stages of medical products or to pasteurisation of food products.

Features of the Junior High Temperature data logger

The Junior High Temperature has one or two internal and external stainless steel probes, easily interchangeable and of a customisable length.
The base of the logger is also made from stainless steel and is fully waterproof.

The Junior High Temperature works over a temperature range from 0°C to +125°C. It delivers between +/- 0.35°C and +/- 0.55°C accuracy.
Its compact size enables it to be inserted into any type of manufacturing process : it measures 5 cm in diameter, 3 cm high (excluding probes) and weighs only 250 grams (including battery). The battery life is between one and two years, depending on how it is used, and the battery can be replaced by the user.

The Junior High Temperature has a memory capacity of 16K or 40K readings. The accuracy of temperatures logged is to half a decimal (e.g.: +100°C then +100.5°C).
Several alarm levels are possible, which are triggered either when the first out-of-range measurement is taken, or after several alarms have been triggered, whether consecutive or not. It is also possible to deactivate the alarms and to programme the probe in record-only mode.

For the healthcare sector, we calibrate the loggers with 3-point NIST calibration upon request. The calibration certificate is enclosed in paper format with the delivery of the logger and can also be sent by email in PDF format. The Junior High Temperature is therefore compliant with the FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11 relating to electronic validation, signatures and records.

Use of the Junior High Temperature data logger

The user programs the Junior High Temperature themselves (password, alarms, alarm trigger mode, recording time after the logger is started or start date, transportation duration, measurement frequency) by downloading the free Console Pro software (see bottom of the page or in the Downloadable Software section).

The recording starts automatically after being programmed in advance, i.e. using a magnetic activation key. The end of the recording is also defined during programming, either by a duration programmed before it stops, or after a certain number of predefined readings, or when all possible readings have been performed.

In order to retrieve data from the Junior High Temperature, connect the logger to a computer using the USB interface and open the Console Pro software. Save the temperature report in PDF, CSV or TXT formats, for example.
